Proof of Life
I am alive.

I was not killed by the kids or the cats.

Things have just been really crazy around here. School started, the kids are going to 'pre-school', Joey came home... the list just goes on and on and on.

School. It's going great, I am loving all of my classes. My sociology professor is... aw, hell I don't know what the hell to think about him. I think that he is a pervert. He can some how relate everything back to sex. I am starting to warm up to him, but I still do not like him.

I also have a geology lecture and the lab, and I managed to get the same professor for both classes. I absolutely love him. He is one of the few that actually gives you the time to write notes from the Power Points.

My math class is going to be easy, and my psychology professor is a really sweet old guy.

Joey finally got in touch with the guy about the job, and he's going to call Joey back Monday or Tuesday and let him know something. The guy said that he's got a few hands that he's going to fire... so there might be an opening for Joey. Sorry for the other guy, but it's great news for us.

Yeh. Don't forget... my birthday is Monday.

School is starting for everyone!!
Things are getting very busy around here. The new semester starts Tuesday, if we don't freeze or get snow by then. Blythe Anne and Jonah started pre-school Thurday, and they both love it.

I am very excited about them going to school too. Jonah was really too young to go, they only have classes for two to four year olds, but they decided that it was ok to let him in. There's only four other kids in his class, and it's all boys. I think there's about 13 kids in BA's class.

When I dropped Jonah off Thursday morning, the first thing his teacher did was to pick him up. When I went to get him that afternoon, she was still holding him. I think that she held him the whole day. Then on Friday when I dropped him off she picked him up as soon as I sat him down. The boy is going to be spoiled. His teacher, Mrs. S, loves him to death. She believes that Jonah is the best baby ever, that he never cries (ha, come live at our house), and that he minds... the list goes on.

BA loved it too. When I picked her up Friday, she told me that she wanted to come back, and asked when she could. I was afraid that she would hate it, but it's the opposite.

I drop them off at 7:30, so we have to get up at 6. I used to put them in bed at nine, but bedtime is getting moved up. I think that 8:00 will work for BA's new bedtimes, but I think that little Jonah may need to start going to bed at 7:00.

Their pick up time and when I get home from school over laps a few days, so two days a week my mother-in-law will pick them up and once a week my cousin will pick them up.

I am now headed off to go get BA from her Maw Maw's house.

TMX Rocks!
Why, would some one please tell me, why would a parent actually shake their baby? There was another local case on the news tonight. So far, this baby is still alive.

About a year ago, a friend of Joey's who was a rad-tech at a local hospital where a baby was brought in after his parents shook him. I believe it was nearly a week before the baby passed away... the "parents" were recently sentenced.

And in every single case, the "parents" say that they were stressed out and the baby would not stop crying. OMG. It's an infant, he cannot talk, crying is all that he can do. I mean, trust me, I know, listening to an infant cry for 12 straight hours can become nerve racking, but I will tell you what I always did and several of my friends also did when their children were babies... put them in the bed and walk outside for a few minutes and just breathe.

You cannot tell me that these people do not know about Shaken Baby Syndrome. Information about it is all over the new, TV, and at hospitals. What the hell are theses people thinking? The general public makes me sick.

I went to Monroe today to talk to the people in the financial aid office. They told me to appeal again, so I am going to go through that again. I have to make some type of payment by Wednesday... you can make checks payable to ULM. More information as it comes.

And today.. I bought the kids the TMX Elmo. OMG. I love it more than the kids do... I have videos of it, and I will have to post them, maybe I'll do that tomorrow.

My father-in-law went to the doctor today, and it's not looking to good as far as his health goes.
